There is a spirit of BREAKTHROUGH in the air for 2019. I can feel it inside of me; it’s like an internal vibration that is getting stronger and faster. There is a feeling of anticipation. Over the past few months, our church has been knee-deep into what the Bible says about transformation. This is incredibly exciting to me since I’m a transformational life coach. Not only am I adding “tools” to my coaching toolbox, but He continues to transform my mind and my heart on a daily basis as He prepares me to help others.

Have you ever watched a movie with a friend and as you were watching, your friend interjects tidbits of information throughout? For some, this is highly annoying. Sometimes, if the information adds value, it can be fascinating….This was my morning. Since getting to know My Father more intimately, I have found Him to have a wicked sense of humor…maybe that’s the wrong choice of words, but you get my drift. He’s funny. He’s witty. He makes me laugh. He’s also my favorite Teacher and Interjecting Friend.

He used everything that was happening at church this morning to have a complete conversation with me full of interjections and teachable ah-ha moments. It was like He planned it in advance….hmmm.

It all began during worship. Worship is precious to me. It unlocks my mental door to creativity. I also many times end worship feeling like I’ve received a big God hug. He communicates His unconditional love to me through worship.

A worship leader said, “Far greater things will you see if you BELIEVE.” Simple enough statement, right?  Not this morning…not for me. My spirit repeated the word, “…if you BELIEVE.’ I began to ponder what this added to the equation. Believe what? My Interjecting Friend responded, “Believe WHO you are. Believe WHO’s you are. Believe that I have a purpose for your life. Believe that I am faithful to bring it to pass.”

WOW! OK! Then the next song began. It was a new one to me called Do It Again by Elevation.

Walking around these walls
I thought by now they’d fall
But You have never failed me yet
Waiting for change to come
Knowing the battle’s won
For You have never failed me yet
Your promise still stands
Great is Your faithfulness, faithfulness
I’m still in Your hands
This is my confidence, You’ve never failed me yet

I’ve seen You move, come move the mountains
And I believe, I’ll see You do it again
You made a way, where there was no way
And I believe, I’ll see You do it again

So many things to BELIEVE and cling to in this song especially when things aren’t going along as we would like them to be. 1-Knowing the battle is won, 2-He will NEVER fail me, 3-He is my confidence, 4-He can move my mountains. That’s just a few. It’s easy to grow weary as we sow into our purpose when we aren’t seeing the harvest. But, what did the worship leader say, “Far greater things will you see if you BELIEVE.” Belief in His Promises brings ENDURANCE during sowing.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

OK! Bring it on!

I was reminded by my Interjecting Friend of a tool I currently use in my own coaching training called The Results Formula.  What do you know? A new perspective to old words; showing me how to use these tools as a Christian to transform my walk. The Results Formula looks like this…

Your THOUGHTS  lead to your FEELINGS which lead to your ACTIONS which lead to your RESULTS! If you don’t like your RESULTS, you must go back and look at your THOUGHTS.  Chew on that one for a bit. I know; it can be bitter. Believe me, I know.

Then, He asked me again, “ What do you BELIEVE (i.e. what are your THOUGHTS) about WHO you are, WHO’s you are, WHAT your purpose is, HOW or IF you will ever accomplish that purpose. Are your ACTIONS in alignment with My TRUTH about all of it”

I have to be honest, I’ve been struggling and second guessing my purpose (among other things) lately. What are my RESULTS so far?

He gave me this…

The level of my BELIEF in His ability to bring forth my DESTINY determines the FEELINGS I sow into it and the BOLDNESS of my ACTIONS in pursuit of it.

Belief Result= Living into my purpose, Joy, Ability to see greater things like His promise to harvest at 100x over, Identity, Personal fulfillment

Lack of Belief Result= Anxiety, Depression, Lack of direction, Lack of identity, Lack of fulfillment

“I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

My BELIEF in His ability to produce a harvest as I sow into my purpose is an acknowledgement of a very important Spiritual Law. If you sow, you shall reap. Whether you sow in belief of unbelief, you will reap a harvest but sowing in unbelief produces many thorns. I don’t like thorns. I don’t like making things harder than they need to be.  If you are growing weary in your sowing, are you sowing Lone Ranger style. That was never the intent when He created you and gifted you with your special gifts and purpose. We were created in His image and then when we became BELIEVERS (ding, ding, ding- there is that word again) we are given His Holy Spirit.

The MOST POWERFUL FORCE IN THE UNIVERSE is inside of us!!!

When we respond to Him with “I can’t” or “I’m not good enough” we are expressing a lack of belief in His Truth.

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 5:9

Next was the message, yes, I received ALL of those goodies during worship. Today we were studying the Kingdom of God and pastor gave us a challenge. Pastor Tim challenged us to allow God to speak to us in a fresh, new way through words we’ve all heard before and to be open to new ideas and things He wants to speak directly to our hears. My brain must have gotten that challenge ahead of time. Some days I think Pastor and I are on side by side surf boards riding the same wave. I’ll be studying something the week before and then the sermon comes alongside my studies and completes them.

“Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” Matthew 6:10

Did you know that the Kingdom of God is inside you? That seed was inside you from your creation. It’s purpose is to create a Kingdom Harvest through us.

My purpose is this…to heal families by healing the hearts of women and helping them to see themselves as their Creator already sees them.

Let me tell you…this can be exhausting. And, I many times don’t see the harvest. Sometimes I feel like I’m beating my head against a wall. I wonder if anyone cares. Are my words being read? Are they making a difference? Are they changing lives…families…hearts? Does anyone even get me and my sense of humor? But, guess what? He is faithful and He showed me some fresh stuff today.

We are in a constant battle in our minds, friends. We must be diligent to command the Kingdom of God into our lives because with it comes TRUTH, POWER, PEACE, and JOY. These things are our birthright.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10

There is a force that is wanting to stop us from BELIEVING the what is ALREADY ours.

During service we read The Parable of the Sower in Luke 8:5-15

“A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up.Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown.”When he said this, he called out, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.” His disciples asked him what this parable meant. 10 He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, “‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’ (Isaiah 6:9) 11 “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. 14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

This is where Pastor’s challenge was accepted, and I received a fresh, new perspective on this passage. We’ve all been taught this parable as it pertains to salvation.  I want to challenge you to see this passage in the way that He revealed it to me. The Pastor increased the idea of believing to include all truths about us that Our Father has for us. God, my Interjecting Friend, gave me an addition insight as it pertains to my purpose. Ladies, this is especially for you…I want you to see the seeds as the words you speak over yourself. And, what is the harvest (or RESULTS) that those seeds are producing?

We go to Bible studies, we go to Ladies’ retreats and conferences and we learn all of these truths, we pray for each other, we buy trinkets, books, educational material, etc to take home. Then we go home. And we are back in the “real world” and we are tested. It seems like the enemy especially likes to dig in on those fresh new things you’ve learned. The ones that haven’t yet become your default thought patterns; the seeds that haven’t yet grown strong roots. And then the enemy makes you questions them, yourself, maybe even the ones who taught them…”they believe for a while but in the time of testing they fall away.” Families everywhere are hurting because there are woman in the center who haven’t come to BELIEVE WHO and WHO’s they are. They are looking for love outside of themselves, apart from Him. Their families are collateral damage of a lack of KNOWING and BELIEVING their worth and their value. We speak things over ourselves that are not true, saying “I am…” Did you know that I AM is the name of God? Anything after the words I AM, we create with our words. When you speak lies after I AM, you might as well be slapping your Creator in the face saying you know better than Him who you are. You are now putting these lies in the place of the truths of God Almighty.

It is my passion to plant the KINGDOM SEEDS of worthiness, love and value in the female community. We are the lifeblood of the family. Life comes from us and through us, because of us. We are all here because of a woman somewhere. What will you believe about yourself sweet friends? Will you believe and internalize what He says about you? Or, will you allow the enemy to “come and take away the word from (your) heart?” I want to finish with this…His TRUTH about you. Read them slowly. As you read them, pay attention to any feelings that come up. Allow Him to show you areas where you have been in UNBELIEF. Ask for FORGIVENESS and ask out loud, with BOLDNESS for the KINGDOM of GOD, His Truth, to be your heaven on earth. It is your inheritance, your birthright!

It is time us as Christian women to stand together and no longer tolerate or believe what the world says about us but instead stand on and believe what God, our Creator, says about us.
